 Hmmm. Starhawk in space?
Anyway, the official religion of the Imperium in
my campaign is Babylonian. That's pretty pagan. Currently
Inanna is rising to the head of the Imperial pantheon
promoted by the current Royal Family over the older
head Erishkigal, Queen of the dead. This has sparked
various religious debates and conflict of numerous
worlds (like the Greens and the Blues in Byzantium).
The Devnaree Collective did a competition dungeon
based around one of these worlds.
I have a bunch of Sumerian and Babylonian reworked
myths.on-line somewhere. Innanna goes of to visit the
underworld on her grav-bike, Dumuzi, because of his
lazy attitude, has taken on the additional role of being
the patron of the unemployed, etc, etc. If people are
interested I can post segments. You might be able to find
the whole scenario on-line. I did post a few to the
archives.

"Having a pilot who belives in reincarnation is not
necessarily ideal." -- one player about another player.
d's oldest bank
singlehandedly.
Picture this, Aslan lord says to his youngest: "Son,
it is time for you to go make your mark in the world. To
make it particularly challenging I am only going to give
you outdated equipment and send you off to fight the
might of the Imperium." Aslan son looks wonderstruck and
intensely greatful.
In another room of the estate a collection of Aslan
wives and executives hold a committee meeting.
W1: "Well, our lord and master has done it again."
 W2: "I have D1, D2, and D3 waiting outside. They
just finished their degress as Pretentious Buisness College
and are fluent in Human."
W3: "How will that leave us for trainees?"
W2: "There are another three daughters due to graduate
in the next 4 years. We should be fine."
W1: "Send them in, we'll brief them."
So the Aslan son prepares to go off and battle brainlessly
while his cousins obtain immigrant visas to the Imperium.
No problem being hired on, I would think. Given their rather
aggressive attitude to business, may leading business are
likely to compete for their skills. Rising highly therein
they can quickly reach the point of being able to inflict
amazing economic damage.
If their backup team of Aslan female lawyers are on
the ball they will have things sewn up so that their clan
may *own* half of Tobia by the time his hopeful nibs
gets there.
  Makes sense to me...
